As far as motors go, would it be better to go with 2205 or 2207 ****kv motors? What would be the difference while flying?

Actually, after looking a little more, maybe these motors will be better? 2203 2600kv.

Hey there Jared. Have you try looking at hobbyKing USA I got theses motors for my 210 MultiStar V-Spec 2205 - 2350KV 420w Multi-Rotor Motor (CW) not bad for the price.

I'm really trying to figure out how the stator height affects performance. From what I can understand, it gives more torque. Is this true?

Grand total: $580.94

I think that's pretty good for a decked out 250 quad with goggles.

DX6e. I wonder if a satellite Rx will work?

Yes, you can connect a spaktrum Sat up to one of the UART's, just remember to run power to a 3.3 pad on the board, and not 5v.

I found this satellite Rx on amazon. I think it looks like a decent one. The reviews are pretty positive too.

I went ahead and started the process. I ordered my frame (Crazepony Martian II RX255) and will get a little at a time until next year and then I'll ramp it up with a few large orders. I got a pretty good shopping list right now. Besides the quad, I want to get the new Spektrum iX-12, a few lemon Rx's and esc's...etc. I'm gonna gather a bunch of stuff to go on these planes I have built. I'll also get a few items to get this fancy Speedix 210 rippin' and roarin' (thanks Ivan!). Also on the list is a new pair of Aomway goggles.

Go all out or get out!!!!!! LMAO!!!!

As with a heli, should loctite be used?

Yes, on any bolt that goes into metal and is made out of metal. Especially the motors. Just don't over tighten them.
