The final piece has been printed, and it does need some tweaking. The legs I put on it hit the corners that are more of a chamfer so they need to be moved a bit. The holds for the PSU's are super tricky to get in place to hold the PSU's so I think I will be getting rid of those and just using hold downs and build a spacer that will fit in the box to hold them side to side.
If you look closely, everything was printed top side down giving the texture that I like except for the ring on the box. It made more sense to print the box right side up to keep from using a TON of infill, but although the print is fantastic and smooth, it needs to be flipped over.
Both paraboards fit great but the XT60 plug on the top one, the wires have to bend very sharp due to the way the plug sits. I can either create a new hole or I can just resolder the plug and make the wires go down slightly, which is what I will likely do.
Along with the XT90 to the left of the charger (which the charger fits great), I want to put a balance plug next to it so that if I need to plug anything in up top, I can. I might just remove the XT90 from the build since this will be a ways down the road and I will have the file ready to reprint if needed.
And as I'm sure you can see, this again was printed with a bunch of partial rolls I had lying around. That is with teh exception of the green on the top left, that is a flake filament and I use that to print for my wifes friend. I have that one and 3 other rolls that she really likes, and I did not use those others at all. I also have some dark gray PETG that is still in the package.
I do have to make some modifications to the corners, I underestimated how large they are and completely overlooked the rivets that hold the black corners in place. So I will have to increase the fillet (pretty sure that is a fillet, or is it a chamfer?... I always get those mixed up) to make it fit better. Side to side and top to bottom it fits nice and snug though.
Let me know if I should add anything else to this build!
