CORCS Fun Fly 08/20/11

What's going on everyone. Well if you read my blog that I wrote tonight, you know that I went out with a great bunch of guys from the CORCS club on their fun fly. I'm sure that the heat was the reason there were not may people there, afterall it was 104. That is a lot of heat to stand out in lol. But, that didn't keep some of the dedicated from showing up.

The party pretty muched slowed down by the time I got there. The cookout was done, and there was only two planes that flew. One of them is a beautiful Piper Cub. Below you can see some pics of this beauty.

I have decided that it's time to start supporting your local club. I'm going to start changing things around here on the forum for just this reason. There are a bunch of great people out there that you can fly with. Yes, it does cost some money, but IMO it's worth it. So go out and find your own local club, or if you are near, come fly with us.

I do have to apologize to those members of the club, I can't remember anyones name lol. I should have gotten it on video so I wouldnt' forget. I promise to name those in these pics next time.

That last picture has a story. I had to ask why there was a mirror on the front of that plane. The owner told me "It's a GPS Unit... Everytime you want to know where you are, just look in it, and there you are...". I got a good laugh out of it lol.
