So the unit for my 700 showed up today. I'll probably install it this weekend.

Is that the newly renamed Bavarian Demon version?
yea that's why its got the Devil on the front.

I got the initial install and configuration setup tonight. One thing I am not happy with is the Aileron roll difference. I get -10 degrees one direction and 8.4 degrees the other direction. Servo arms are zeroed swash is perfectly level. everything else is perfect. On the Beastx you could dial these two in separately to get them perfect in both directions. For some reason no other FBL controller has thought of this :(

Yea it's the stock motor that comes with the new 700. Tons of power!!!

My 300x with 3sx almost done with it again was making some additional changes.

Oh that's right, they are using the 800's in the 700size and 800size. Forgot about that. Can't wait to see how this works out for you. Definitely going to need a demonstration video of this one.

That little 300 looks so funny with such a big unit on it. :D

I don't know why but every picture I've seen of the helicommand make it appear large. It's about the same size of an AR7200BX. On the 300 the FBL controller is meant to go in the belly. Not where I have it. The round corners of the helicommand stick out far enough it won't fit in the belly.

Yeah, I think it's the connectors on top design too. Gives it a "cube" feel that gives the impression of larger footprint.

Ok rewire is done on the 300x. Just took it out and test flew it and it flies great. Now I just have the satellite RX to stick in some sheathing and ill be done with the 700.

nice ... lets see how good she flies .... VID VID VID !!!! ;)
I don't have a camera man :( I'll try and convince the wife later after I get the 700 going to. The 700 has me a little worried. Some people are reporting incompatibility with the BL750H tail servo. Mine doesn't exhibit the problems they are reporting on the bench but I haven't flown it yet either.

what are they saying the issues are?
Tail creep if you let it sit it creeps to the end points very very slowly. Others have reported the tail kicking every once in a great while.

I let mine sit for 15 min and mine didn't creep. So I don't know.

Ok I got the 700 wired up and took my first flight. Helicommand is simply amazing. Although I'm gonna have to dial back the collective pitch in rescue its set to 8 degrees and with this 800mx motor it shoots for the sky like a rocket.
