Cases My charging box

Well it's nearly done, only thing I have left is the proper binding posts, but TBH I don't know if I will fit them just yet.

So here's a few pics of the finished article.

Tbh guys it's come out great, seeing as I have done it on a very small budget. But I have had just as much value out of building it, I love making stuff.

Well it's completely finished now, not doing anymore to it,

And here is the little detail that was still bugging me, binding posts that is.

Managed to get 30a posts eventually but had to enlarge the hole in the plastic screw caps as they were a bit small, and the charger leads would not engage enough for my liking, now enlarged they fit perfect.

Yeah thanks Derek, now just for some decent weather to fly, and use this charger to charge some batteries!

I hope you get some good weather! It's been rather crappy here, lately. I haven't flown anything in over a week. :disgust:

More like 4 weeks for me, been wet and windy, plus not got in the hall to fly the 130x due to school hols and being ill.

Watched Tony's video:) I can do that:) I have been looking online and Hobbyking have the charger cheaper:) Searching PSU,s. Think I will do this early in the new year for definite, may even steal your design:)

Only thing I done different is I unstuck the insulation off the case so I could get more access to do the mod,

Hobbyking is a bit cheaper but by the time you add the postage from the international warehouse cos it's not a light charger I bet it won't be far off the price you can get them in Rc-hero over here, mind you Lee had a good deal on his from the states.
