My helicopter fleet

Here we go. This is the group of helicopters that started my addiction to RC helicopters. My very first helicopter fleet from 2010. From left to right: E-sky Honeybee CPX, small fixed pitch. Don`t remember the brand, but it was my very first helicopter. Dynam E-Razor 450 Carbon Edition, Air Hogs co-axial from walgreens..lol, Don`t remember the brand of the last one. But it was a 27mHz fixed pitch, that flew like a lead balloon...LOL.

Hey there Geena. These birds, are they retired or do they come out to play every once in awhile?

Hi D.O.G. The only one of these that I still have, is the E-Razor 450. It is retired, and is now a shelf decoration that sits above my desk.

Hahahaha. They are a blast to drive. I race the BZ222 sometimes, and the redcat is a basher. I also race the basher 4X4, and the Teak Associated truck. The rest are just for bashing and having fun. Check out what`s under the hood of the blue blitz. I had upgrade-idis when I got that one...hahaha.

LOL yeah, total waste of money, but hey....ya can`t take it with you. I don`t "upgrade" ANYTHING now, unless it absolutely makes the vehicle perform better.

Yup, I'm the same way. Just stock parts, and if they keep breaking, then I will go with something like RPM brand or something. But never any aluminum.

Hey guys. After we discussed tools and hardware kits in last night`s live stream, I thought I would post some photos mine. I`ll do a video soon on which basic tools you need for building/maintaining a helicopter, as well as some of the advanced tools that make things even easier fr us when working on our machines.

Had a fun time at the field today, and got in eight flights between the X3L, X7, and NX7. The last flight on the NX7 claimed the ring in the engine, and I had to finish the day with the electrics. After 6+ cases of fuel, it`s to be expected though. I would not have been able to sleep tonight, knowing that my favorite helicopter was wounded. So I did the right thing, and changed the engine. Within an hour, I had the old engine out, and the new engine in...set up, and ready to be broken in....which will happen tomorrow.

Yes it is. :D I`ll get hold of Richard from YS on Monday, and get the parts for the old engine. I`ll break the new one in tomorrow and have it tuned for power by the end of the day. :D

So....we`re at the field, and having a great time. When we see a deer walk out into the flying field, and start eating grass. Of course we didn`t fly until she was finished, and had moved on. But it was so cool to just and watch her.
