New bird

OMG. What a bad design. Take a look at the Ele. servo link in this pic. No way to get it straight 17498614834513081228317807319064.jpg
Now take a look at the 2 servos in the front. One servo on top of the other servo. 17498616621046106034278537334392.jpg
So what I see is 3 different servo links and the Elv servo link can't get straight. I have two choices:
1) Take the heli completely apart and put my Tarot 450 heli in the fuselage.
2) Send her back.
I'm dissapointed that MotionRc would sell a product like this. I don't want to send it back because it will hurt the wife feelings but on the other hand I don't want her to pay that kind of money, for anything that I'm not going to enjoy. I'm so confused.

It`s a weird design. but if it works...... fly it. Have you even flown it and given it a chance? I agree that they could have put a lot more thought into the design, but I have seen worse. As far as getting the link straight could you put a ball with a shorter shoulder on the servo arm to move the bottom of the link out?
 
Hey Geena. I haven't given it a chance...yet. The more I look at it, the more I think I can make it work. With your idea and with mine, shimming out the ELE servo some...I think it will work. I really like the heli and would like to keep it if they can work a deal out with me. I text them some pictures this morning after talking to them. Just waiting on a responce.
 
As long as it works..... fly the snot out of it. It`s not like it`s a 3D helicopter that you`re going to be beating on so there`s no reason not to at least give it a chance.
