Doing a spring cleaning of my t maxx 2.5r and looking to upgrade the suspension maybe piggyback shocks? Looking for suggestions have a limited budget but willing to pay for quality some jumps but mostly just bashing around

Honestly if you are just bashing around, red springs on all 8 with 2 hole pistons and 40 weight oil will be just fine. If you watch my shock rebuild, I did put 3 hole up front with 40w and 2 hole in the rear with 40w due to the rear being heavier. I have yet to test this as life got in the way, but in theory, it will work better for jumps.

If you are set on upgraded shocks, aluminum over plastic, I have heard good things about these below. They are available from multiple sellers online, this is just the first one I pulled up.

I saw your video and am going to go through my original shocks but I just thought I would see if anyone had good luck with some others
