I agree. You said in your post that it's a half mm shorter and causing play. Do the repairs correctly, and it will save you from headaches later down the road.

Yep.. I said that... Lol.. But after that I said cause my shaft has a slider to adjust, i made it snug... Now the head is very snug. I adjusted the pinion and lovtited everything and everything and things look and feel smooth. I will definately check with lhs for another size of bearing. They weren't that hard to replace. I'll see.. Can someone please confirm this though?? The main head bearings for 450 v2 and pro are they the same size.. ??

Yes, the bearings are the same size on both. FYI, the info is in the instruction manuals available for download on the main page. Just so you know
