Kyle, apologies for the delay! Just getting back into the swing of things (or trying lol).
In looking at those gears, it doesn't appear that it was a lack of lube. With your truck being a 2.5, which is basically a .15 frame and parts with a larger engine stuck on it, I think it was just wear and tear. IMO, other than breakage from crashing, the clutch, clutch bell, spur gear and diff's are the most torn up parts on these trucks. Think about this, you are taking a 2.5 engine and putting it through a transmission with a gear reduction for first, and then sending that to the diff's with themselves are also a gear reduction. The amount of torque on that "ring gear" is quite substantial. And with those gears being sintered metal, they are not the strongest things out there. IMO, you did nothing wrong, this is just a part of owning a T-Maxx lol.
