I recommend double checking the mechanical setup of your tail. When you connect the battery, make sure not to move the bird - and also do not touch the sticks. After it initializes, check that the tail servo arm is at 90° - and that the tail slider is in the middle of travel.
If that checks out, you may also double check that you have selected "small helicopter" in the 3GX tail setup.
If all this checks out, find your perfect gain. What you want to do is increase the gain little by little in between flights, then when the tail starts to wag while in hover you back down on the gain till you loose the wag.
Normal, THR: 0-40-50-75-100 PIT: -2° at low stick.
IdleUp1, THR: 100-95-90-95-100 PIT: 0-25-50-75-100
