FWIW that's not the same receiver. The one I'd recommend is the SPM4649T. The SPM4649T has dual antenna diversity and telemetry and does not require the beastX satellite adapter cable to connect.

You cant go wrong with gens-Ace batteries, they aren't the cheapest but they are good value for money.
Smoggie, will this alert from spectrumrc cause any issues with this helicopter I added a print screen below
Spektrum Quad Race Serial Receiver w/telemetry (SPM4649T): Spektrum - The Leader in Spread Spectrum Technology

The voltage limit issue is fixed on all the current 4649T receivers. Just make sure to buy from a large dealer that sells plenty so you don't end up with old stock.
Ok was gonna order from spectrumrc might see if horizon hobby has this a friend said I needed to install a voltage regulator on these helicopters looks like most of the receivers run similiar voltage how do you have what port do I need to go into looking at this drawing from the 4649t into the BeastX plus it only shows a rx setup sorry for the noob question

It's an SRXL receiver so the process is exactly as per this video (video uses the AR7700 but the procedure is the same):

I personally hate the Microbeast setup with all it's cryptic multi coloured blinky LEDs but I guess once you are used to it it's not so bad.

loctite 242/243 is what you want. I have 242 sitting here (thank you again Jared!) and it is all I use. you cna also use the green stuff if you want to retain bearings and such, but not really needed for what we do.

Yup. The stuff you guys have seen me use in the videos is No. 42 from Harbor Freight. But, now that I have this new bottle of 242, the OG Real Stuff lol, I will be using that. And again, I have to thank Jared for sending that to me!

Keep the build photos coming!

Trex Super Combos usually go together quickly. The last one I built was the 700x which was box opened, built flown and crashed in 48 hours:rolleyes:
The crash was nothing to do with the speed of build, it actually took me a year to figure it out, it was a very intermittent fault with the tail servo.

I think for that price, I would go with the Ikon2. And you will save money AND get bluetooth connectivity.

Me too, you could get a decent price for the Microbeast on eBay. The ikon2 will also give you telemetry and FBL setup integration in your Tx menu none of which the Microbest supports.

I’m gonna fight trough the Beast x , As long as it binds to the SRXL rx on the way smoggie recommended I’ll get it all setup . The ikon2 looks like a nice setup
