Smoggie, will this alert from spectrumrc cause any issues with this helicopter I added a print screen belowFWIW that's not the same receiver. The one I'd recommend is the SPM4649T. The SPM4649T has dual antenna diversity and telemetry and does not require the beastX satellite adapter cable to connect.
You cant go wrong with gens-Ace batteries, they aren't the cheapest but they are good value for money.
Thinking about getting all thisLooks like your ready to go! Don't forget... Thread locker is your friend Good luck and enjoy!
Will do, Sure don't need to warp parts with heat trying to remove the red.. Thanks for the heads upStay away from the red loctite.
The voltage limit issue is fixed on all the current 4649T receivers. Just make sure to buy from a large dealer that sells plenty so you don't end up with old stock.Smoggie, will this alert from spectrumrc cause any issues with this helicopter I added a print screen below

Ok was gonna order from spectrumrc might see if horizon hobby has this a friend said I needed to install a voltage regulator on these helicopters looks like most of the receivers run similiar voltage how do you have what port do I need to go into looking at this drawing from the 4649t into the BeastX plus it only shows a rx setup sorry for the noob questionThe voltage limit issue is fixed on all the current 4649T receivers. Smoggie, Thanks , yea I’m kinda stuck with it so I hope to make it work my wife’s getting hyper at all the cost and extra stuff of one of these helicopters builds she handles all the funds . I even found a cool align pilot shirt and hat on sale on there Trex sight I gotta get lolIt's an SRXL receiver so the process is exactly as per this video (video uses the AR7700 but the procedure is the same):
I personally hate the Microbeast setup with all it's cryptic multi coloured blinky LEDs but I guess once you are used to it it's not so bad.
Tony cool use the old Carolina blue loctite. Thanksloctite 242/243 is what you want. I have 242 sitting here (thank you again Jared!) and it is all I use. you cna also use the green stuff if you want to retain bearings and such, but not really needed for what we do.
Me too, you could get a decent price for the Microbeast on eBay. The ikon2 will also give you telemetry and FBL setup integration in your Tx menu none of which the Microbest supports.I think for that price, I would go with the Ikon2. And you will save money AND get bluetooth connectivity.
