Wow, this motor just pulled 62.10 static amps. The voltage dropped down to 10.43 when I was making that pull giving me a wattage reading of 647 watts

So much for this being a 500 watt motor hahaha. But, that was static with me holding it in my hands. And holy crap it was getting hard to hold lmao. If I can get some new servos, this will be a very fun helicopter with more than enough power.

Been a real pain of a day... I guess I've got mondayitis bad... not feeling it today, work colleague is being lazy and not answering phones, which means my workload doubles.
Not feeling great, and under pressure and just grr....
Sorry rant over... if only I could get things to fall into place

Rendering a new video, put the old MG90S servos in the HK450GT in preparation to put the D650 Solar servos in the new heli, then found the broken wires in the servo. How in the hell did I NOT crash this HK450GT with the D650's in it?... Glad I pulled them out.

Ok looks like someone has been a busy little beaver this weekend.

Like tony I have some new projects not rc about to start. I need to focus (pun) on my photography. I think that could pan out if I get the right stuff.

I found some diy projects that can help me get the shot I have been wanting.

Getting this job for me was pure luck. My step dad had a person working in the armory and they said they were looking for security. I only planned on being there a year. Then, 3 full years later, I went from a part time "999" (as a 999, you can ONLY work 999 hours a year otherwise they must pay you more and give you insurance), to a full time state employee that I am now.

You need to check with your local OPM office in your state. OPM, if you didn't know, is Office of Personnel Management. If it's anything like my position, they will put veterans before civilians any day. I got lucky and was hired from within.

Also, if your state is like ours, the pay is not much more than you are making now. BUT. The state of Oklahoma pays for ALL of my insurance which is over 1600 a month for my family. Talk about GREAT insurance! That alone is the ONLY reason I'm still at this base. Well, that and the fact that I can still run this forum while I'm there lol. Hope this helps.

Well, woke up at 1500 today. My usual time to wake up... 1830... It's going to be a LOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNGGGGGGGG night! Looks like I need to shoot some videos to stay awake...

I can't believe your hourly pay!
I now have to ask, what does a 1L of milk cost? and a loaf of bread?
Simply to purchase products over there must be a whole lot cheaper than here. I have found some things that are really cheap there, but they will then bend you over with shipping (not talking about RC stuff)
Be interested to hear what average costs are
