I can't believe how confused I am right now. I'm working on the blade pitch. I have a level swash from full negative to full positive collective. However, I now have +18.6 on blade A and +18.1 on blade B. Then I have -6.0 on blade A and -6.5 on blade B.

I think it's just time to unplug everything, set it aside, and go to bed.

Did you have the TX Throttle stick in the middle when setting up?
Can't think of anything else you would miss Derek.

Yeah...it's probably just my imagination running out of control. I was going through the setup again last night, not making adjustments, just rechecking and rechecking.

It's just odd, to me, that the manual calls for the elevator linkage rod to be 47mm and the aileron/pitch linkage rods to be 44mm in length. I've done that, as a starting point and I end with it +16 degrees of pitch and -6 degrees of pitch. But...I'll work on it today. If I can take 5 degrees from the positive side and add that to the negative side, that would give me +/- 11 degrees. I can live with that.

hmmmm, so....since I have more positive than I do negative, do I lengthen or shorten the linkage rods? I'm thinking that I need to lengthen them.

For it to be that far off Derek, something has to be critically wrong in your set up somewhere.
I've been looking at the manual. Can't see any problems with your measurements.

"critically wrong"??? That's a pretty ugly way to describe this, Lee, lol.

Although....it's because of this extreme variance that has me concerned.

If all the linkages are right, and servo arms are at 90º. The only thing I can think of is that the servos were not centred when you put the arms on??

Ok.....I'll go way back to the beginning and start over. I'd surely rather start over (again) than risk being insanely wrong and unsure.

LOL Critically wrong, meaning your heli will fly very badly if you took off with the settings like that.
I agree, go back to the beginning and start again with what Kev said. Checking default pitch settings and servo arms correct :)

lol, I understood what you were meaning, Lee...I just thought it was funny that you used the word "critically". That's a horribly horrible word to use in relation to an rc helicopter, lol.

I'm going back to the beginning, right now, and starting over. Ugh!

Yes, most of the setup is done via the Ikon programming. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it all.

There are 3 bank modes...all three are setup. Bank 1 and 2 are the same...bank 3 is set up for Sport mode...just a bit more agility than banks 1 and 2.

Here is a question....I've been over this before with Tony and a few others here...but the Align manual says to put the ball links into the outer hole of the servo arm. On my 500 and 450, all ball links are in the inner hole of the servo arm. This setup has the correct geometry. My 600....I have the ball links in the outer holes. Should I move them to the inner holes?
