I just did a quick search on hobbypartz and the 3500 kv alpha 400 is not showing up, they do have a 920 kv and a 740 kv but are out of stock. The 3500kv version was never restocked and that is why I got the Exceed Helium motor. I do have a 4200 kv Exceed helium that runs at 300W, if I would have used that I would have needed an 11T pinion to keep the head speed under 3k or 4k rpms with my 11.1v battery. I ended up buying the Exceed 3000 KV motor and bought a 14T pinion for the 3.17 mm shaft (same shaft size on both motors). Only down side is I had to provide all mounting hardware and pinion. The 4200 kv is sized to fit a 250 class heli I believe. I paired it with a 40 amp esc.
