I saw that we had a storm coming in... but didn't pay it much mind. I should have, I probably could have gotten some good lightning pics before the rain started.

Yea, this one was a little more powerful than I thought it was going to be. Definitely need the rain, that's for sure.

Played with my printer. I found a chess set on thingiverse that I really like. The name of it is space race. Has american and russian spacecraft. I printed a 10x10mm cube and used my calipers to check accuracy. It was within .1mm. I also added some LEDs to the top of the frame so I can see the print easier.

So I had to order some parts for my car a few days ago. I had a little (large) radiator hose blow out so I found some awesome prices on hoses from a vendor of a site that I moderate, and I ordered them. Well, one was shipped from Houston and the other from Salt Lake City. Why? Who knows, and yes, I had to pay double the shipping for this yet it was still cheaper than I could get it locally. In hindsight.... yea...

So the first hose from Utah arrived last week, very quickly. The hose from Huston was supposed to be here yesterday, but yet it stated "Notice Left, Customer Requested Hold". Um, no notice left and I never requested anything other than my package to be delivered. Sometimes you have to love USPS... I called today and they could not find the package, but there was a sub delivering our mail yesterday. Yup, that would explain it. My usual postal worker knows my house, knows where to leave my stuff and knows that my large loud and mean ass doby can't get outside lmao. So yea, I get to wait longer for my package to arrive. And yes, I'm waiting on the hose that blew out, not the one that I'm replacing for preventative maintenance. Go figure....

USPS can be like that, on the 15 July I had an item posted from Peoria IL, it has my correct address on it including country AUSTRALIA, however under the main address it has AUSTRIA, well so fare that package has been to Austria twice and is currently on its way back to the states. Hopefully this time to be returned to the sender, USPS were contacted by sender straight after the item was posted by the sender to advise of the mistake and said they had redirected it to Australia. I have no issues with the sender I know I will get my item eventually, but it is frustrating.

I just got a new mail person to be politicly correct. Actually I've seen more than one darting around the neighborhood. Seems we get the neighbor's mail and they get ours and so on down the road. It's get'n better,, LOL...

Just in case anyone else is seeing it, yes, I also see the large header banner. This was not me, it was adsense up to its regular shenanigans. I'm going to leave it for a day or so and if it doesn't clear up by then, then I'm going to put a static ad up there with a fixed size. Hoping this is just a fluke...
