Electric lines have been run. Now we are just waiting on the engineer to come out and make the connections and place the meter. Then, to finish installing the HVAC system. I love it when I'm the only one in a hurry to get into my house. No one else doing the work gives a crap... I hate waiting...

OEC just left about an hour ago and we have electricity. Which means my well is working and let me tell you, that is some NASTY red mud water coming out of that thing... Hoping it doesn't take long to clear up. Really need a shower lmao.

The HVAC guys will be here about Noon tomorrow to install the heat and air. It's about friggin time!!!

I really hope so. I'm trying to recruit people to help me move this weekend lol. Either way, after the heat is installed, and the water is running clear, I'm sleeping there! I'm having coffee there! It can't happen soon enough!

Nope. Even if I was, I couldn't run this water through it. If I did, it would clog the sediment filter in abotu 10 minutes. I did think about running a whole house filter, then I started seeing the prices lol. It's like $200 for just the sediment filter, and a LOT more for the carbon filters and water softeners. I want to, just can't afford to right now. Will just have to put up with what we have for the time being.

My desk and my kitchen table are in the house! Now I have two choices of where to drink my coffee... Whereas at the last place, I had to get dressed, put on a coat then go outside to a SHED to drink my coffee because there was NO TABLE in that house!!! I could live just like this and be happy as hell!

Just set up my wireless bridge (DD-WRT) and it's working GREAT. My wireless card in my desktop is starting to go out and I was only getting about .5Mbps download and upload speeds. Yeah, that is just not going to work lmao. But, the ole WRT54G V8 is doing GREAT with DD-WRT installed on it. Now, if they will only get the firmware finished for my other Cisco router (EA2700), then I would be set.

hehe, it's just a bunch of computer stuff that I love playing with. Now, I just need to get my 8 port switch over here and start wiring the house. But, the wife is making me wait on that one. She sayd just the one cable from the bridge to my desktop is too much in a new house lmao. But I have some bad news for her... This place is going to look like a server farm by the time I'm done hehe.

Ah, waking up for my first day back at work after the holiday. Sitting at my desk, in my living room, with my coffee! Damn I had to pay a LOT of money to make this happen lmao.
