yeah, I guess it wouldn't have mattered if I had gotten it. I've spent most of the past 30 hours in bed. Ugh. Just recently started feeling a bit better so I got my 500 out and took the tail completely apart and started messing with it. After putting it back together, it does slide more smoothly but not perfect. Anyway...it was good for me to wrench on something again. Hopefully tomorrow is better for me.

Well... Hopefully we will get power back today.. Parts of the hood have it already.. To look you would think it possible.. Try'n to stay on the positive side of think'n.. Lol... But the look'n make that hard. Got the roof patched in several spots.. Jerked down the busted gutters... All the big stuff piled... Gonna start on the little stuff this morn'n and get ready for work tomorrow I suppose... Have to charge my iPhone in the truck in a sec after my coffee.. I miss MY coffee! Hope they do power is back up... Get over being sick and work'n in this crap isn't help'n... Scoot over Derek... I might be join'n u... Lol
This is one of the reasons I'm eager to see another RC flight organization startup and grow. AMA needs some competition so they don't get too full of themselves, feel like they can get away with charging an arm or leg, and then take it upon themselves to speak for the whole of US RC fliers in dealings with the FAA and end up backing us into a couple uncomfortable corners in the process.

Well I have not went to the mailbox but I can tell ya it will not fit in the biggest box so its a no show today. It baffles me that some people got packs from the post office today, i guess I would care if I did not have this new kit coming.
As for the kit I got the Gaui X3 with some spare parts for when the first crash happens. I also added a Phoenix Edge 50 amp esc and Phoenix 10 amp bec pro. I also had scorpion battery straps added with Scorpion's 1.5mm and 2.0 mm hex drivers along with RealFlight 7.
Two things that I could not get do to inventory was 2 extra battery trays and 1 rear tail case. I would have called to order so I could back order but I got anxious and placed the order after business hours.
Forgot to add some 3.5mm bullet connectors and a 10 pair pac of ec3 connectors.

Or just get a portable usb keyboard. I have one here from when my old laptop keyboard went kaput. Its small enough to fit in a carry case or back pack.

One trick on keyboard issues on laptops (if talking built in keyboards) take the battery out of the laptop. Mine died on me slowly over a week. Went out and bought a new one. Then pull!ed the battery on the old one for some reason, put it back in, fired it up and it worked again.
