Well I have not went to the mailbox but I can tell ya it will not fit in the biggest box so its a no show today. It baffles me that some people got packs from the post office today, i guess I would care if I did not have this new kit coming.

As for the kit I got the Gaui X3 with some spare parts for when the first crash happens. I also added a Phoenix Edge 50 amp esc and Phoenix 10 amp bec pro. I also had scorpion battery straps added with Scorpion's 1.5mm and 2.0 mm hex drivers along with RealFlight 7.

Two things that I could not get do to inventory was 2 extra battery trays and 1 rear tail case. I would have called to order so I could back order but I got anxious and placed the order after business hours.

Forgot to add some 3.5mm bullet connectors and a 10 pair pac of ec3 connectors.

Yeah, that's a bummer man. Another thing I don't get with the mail is I can track a package for days and it will tell me is at the sending facility and then on the thrid day I go home and it is sitting in my mailbox.

With that package I can certainly understand your frustration.....hope it arrives today for you!

RealFlight is pretty cool. I have Phoenix but I was playing around on RealFlight at a friends shop and it has a lot of cool features. RF doesn't reset when you have a minor crash. For example, I got to close to the ground flying planes and a landing gear broke off but I was still able to keep flying and then land with one or none of the landing gear intact....good training as this could happen in the field. Phoenix resets when anything happens or I haven't found the setting to allow it to keep flying.

The package is due in today based on t he web. I have rf basic now and it is just that basic. Can't do anything but change fields, aircraft and wind conditions that's it.

I should be home at a decent time today so expect some kind of video by tomorrow morning.

Great news, it's still out for delivery at 1930. Got home no package so I guess the waiting continues, unless the wife is messing with me.

Even better news hues what just showed up. Now the wife said I can't touch it for 8 more days. Not even the SIM. I did how ever managed to get my coupon codes out for the esc. Yes two coupons, one for the pc link and the arm lock cable. So here it goes.

Both freebies ordered. Should be here I 2 weeks.

No because now I will end up rushing the build and forget to video and document the build. Oh well I better get piece and quiet when I do start, because it's going to be on.

I don't know about you, but for me the build is almost more fun than flying. Don't rush it too much and be sure to enjoy yourself. Fingers crossed you will only get to build it once.

I was done last weekend. Power steering pump will be next. Not till after it warms up, the temps are dropping next week for us. I am loving this upper 70s lower 80s stuff a lot.

For me, I'm going to see if I can take the crank, cam, pistons and rods out of the blown up engine that is in the car now, and put them in a block that is not cracked. The issue is, the uncracked block has sat out in the weather since 2008... So it has a little rust on it lmao. Not sure I can find a 7/8" ball hone (dingleberry) to do the lifter bores. The cyl's will be easy with a normal hone. Oh the fun.

Why do I have the feeling that when you said "little" you really mean a lot! Lmao

It should all be surface rust. If there is any pitting, then I'm screwed. But, I went out and got some bottle brushes and a brake hone just to see if I can clean it up. If I can, then that will give me 3 SBC's that I can work with. Now I just need to get my TH400 pulled out and cleaned up. Might be able to get that thing going again too.
