Nah, work was fine. But the forum had very little revenue today and the people in my house are just pissing me off lmao. Time to grab the mec mod and blow some clouds. Just wound a new parallel coil. Running dual coils in my tobh hitting .3 ohms.

Oh, and threw my back out this morning. It's better now, but yea...

Well I've got a boss who thinks he knows everything when actually knows very little, it does my head in..

And that stuff you puff on sounds more complicated than any bloody heli setup....lol

Do you need a set amount of rev each day like to run it, guess you must for servers, web etc... I couldn't run a site like this, far too complex...lol

Yeah, I have to make so much to keep this site up and running. Thanks to some very generous donations from the members here, we are good for about 4-6 months now. I just hope that we can pick up the pace on here and get more in so that I won't have to worry about it anymore. Right now, I'm quite worried about it come the end of the year when people start putting the hobby down. But, we will deal with that when the time comes.

and it's not hard to run a site like this. Well, unless there are double posting issues, or other server related issues that you can't find. Then you will lose your friggin mind, change forum software, find out that no one likes it, then have to revert back and lose the posts that have been posted over those 4 days lmao. Ask those that were here, that time was a BITCH!!! But most of the time, it's just like this, calm and nothing but a lot of posting going on. And that is what I love about this site.

That must be stressful worrying about monies for the forum, mind you you have done a good job, I'm totally addicted and had some good threads on here. I'm in a UK forum but hardly ever use it, on here all the time...lol

Sometimes I have pages open on my iPad and my laptop and occasionally forget to log off, does that effect anything, is there an auto log off facility that could be enabled?

I will put some of your dollars in each month to try and help, the UK forum has an annual auto repayment via paypal, have you got that on here? That could be good..

I have not really setup anything to allow members to pay money into the forum other than just donations. And there is no way I would require ALL members to pay just to be on here. I feel that all information for the Rc world should be free and will remain so. However, I may setup a deal where members that want to pay will have access to a private forum only for them. I have something like this setup for those that have helped pay for the 600 nitro heli that I have here. But that is another story...

I wasn't thinking of a "Must do", more of an option, if I didn't have an annual direct debit for my AA recovery or caravan club for instance I'd forget to pay, that was an option by them... Well I would opt in to something like that then I won't forget... Anyway....

Well knee surgery today just a waiting game now this morning, it's been 1 hr since I could eat or drink, and not going in to hospital till mid day so gonna be driving me nuts by then,

Plus had another round of sciatica start on Monday night so can't walk tidy and am in a lot of discomfort, the next 12hrs are gonna be freaking nuts,

Hey Kev, really sorry to hear that mate, I hope everything goes well for you, my Mother had knee surgery a few years back and very glad she did.

Thanks Marius looking forward to getting my knee done, worked very well after I had it done 7 years ago, just 3 years of hard karate training knocked it back a bit,

It's the sciatica that's doing my head in, mate, gonna be super uncomfortable on the bed in the hospital, that is until they knock me out, lol

Quick purchase at hobby store for mini fpv quad and you can amuse yourself by buzzing the nurses from the bed... lol hope it helps you buddy good luck

Hey all, just a note to say my surgery went well back on my feet and home relaxing, knee sore but hey I will live,

Down side is, beautiful weather for flying here this weekend and I am not allowed, gutted.com

Came home (after picking up a secret package and my juices!) and had to run about 150' of cat5e cable. Moved my router into MY house and holy crap, I have interwebz speeds that I should again. This is awesome. And, my network is once again, a gigabit network! Today has been pretty good. Well, except for the whole work thing...
