Man, I just cant' win for losing today... Have to completely setup my 450 again since the file was deleted off my Tx, wind is too high to do anything with the 150 and I can't make anything sound right with making a video on the 150... Guess it's just not my weekend... UGH!!!

So sitting on my DX8 is one of the little things? lmao. Bent the living crap out of the gyro and gov switches. Pretty sure if I try to bend them back, they will snap off. Yup, both of them... Just not my day...

Courier dropped off a big box just now, can't wait to get home and start building. :)

Finally fixed a few more things on the van. Oil pan resealed, oil changed and i found my coolant leak. After all that no servo in my near future.

I really miss the excitement of flying my heli man....would be easier to just buy a new one but what would I learn from that......lol

Prepared for my first FPV flight. Using a platform Eye'm quite familiar with, the Rc-Help Trainer V2.
Mounted the AV tx under the left wing, camera center of top wing surface, with a bit of downward attitude. Being secured on a vibration absorbing frame from the quad, and held to the wing with the elastic string that secures the wing. Set up my second DX6i to match all throws and subtrims. Found a headphone extension cable to use between the radios. All checks out fine.
My brother and Beechy are coming out to the field today. Beechy will be on the Trainer switch for my first flight. If it works smooth, I will give them both a try at the piloting TX and goggles.
Hopefully see something entertaining uploaded to the video log.

Don't know what is going on but when I hit the "Reply to Thread" button all I get is the activity icon going round and round but nothing comes up.
Managed to post this with "Quick Reply".
