Well, it was the holiday weekend. My brother decided to go see "Tammy" instead of flying. Beechy and I caught up with a friend in from out of town. Needless to say, we were not in Flying condition to be able to try this out safely.
On a side note, the Pitts Biplane arrived on Saturday and the build has begun.

That is a cool looking plane, looks like an excellent starter into rc aeroplanes.
That plane is the Rc-Help Trainer V2, Tony has plans for this in the Store area of this site. It has crashed many times and, with a little Gorrilla Glue and spare foamboard pieces, goes back into the air cheaply.

Ok Tony this works fine on another PC so it's an issue at my end.

Works on a different browser so it's a Chrome issue.

I was going to say, clear your cache and it should clear it up. It sucks that it loses all of the saved info, but it does clear up a lot of issues.

So this whole time, it was a loose nut behind the keyboard!!!! hahahahahahaha

I had to...

Just flew the CRAP out of the 150!!! I have my favorite blade setup on there. What would that setup be? You will just have to wait for the video to find out!!!

Yeah I'm a big boy, I can take it.
I should have done a bit more checking before blaming the forum. :)

I was itching to get the maiden flight of my new plane on here. :)

What was in the box??

Wow, weathers a bit rough up here at the moment, 160kmh+ gusts.
Power went out early last night, came back briefly then went again.
Luckily dinner was already cooked so I didn't starve.
According to the radio power will be restored today.
I hope so, I am taking Thursday and Friday off to have a long weekend with my son Jacob.

I'm sure this was a paddock when I left for work yesterday.

Nitro baby

I have started the process of exiting the active component. Yesterday I did my clearing brief and should have my clearing packet on Friday. I am 13 working days away from departure. For all the Ohio guys I should be home around the 27th and for all the Texas guys its been a great stay. I love being in Texas just not the area that I am at.

Anyhow I will be here till the 25th and with all the stuff going on the heli is going to be packed until i get back to Ohio. My flight packs are in the freezer being preserved. I will say that my tx pack may need replaced soon so i think that goes in the freezer next.

Lots of cleaning to get done and not enough time.

And what does the freezer do for battery storage? Are the lipo's at storage voltage before you do this?

Keeps internal ambient temperatures very low. David at progressive rc has stated that keeping the packs cold will help extend the life of the packs. Its supposed to be ideal if tour not using the packs for long periods of time like in the winter. Since my next flight time is unknown right now i thought i would store them.

Its an ETS with a contract with the Reserves for 3 years. After that I will need to decide on when I retire. I could honestly start the process in 2 years but then I would lose my insurance until I am 61. That's 21 years I would have to wait for affordable insurance. I am currently seeking a career change that could put me in the skill trades in about 6 to 7 months for an paid intern. I am still undecided as to which career I want to look at, either industrial/residential electrical or welding. Will see what happens.

Went past an airfield when making a delivery this morning. Saw these guys flying on strings!!!
I don't remember my Cox 0.049 Miss America being able to do this as a kid.
