Let me say it this way. the leading edge should be on the side with the blade grip arm. The leading edge should rotate up into the rotor wash if that makes sense.
On the tail blades, is the trailing edge facing the front or the back?
Thanks Fran, yeah, I had my start time set to 15 so I changed it to 25.There is one thing that might help that if it bothers you. If you have the LCD program box you can set the startup time up to 25 seconds for a super slow start. Not as soft as a Kontronik controller but still a gentle soft start. Less stress on the gears as well...
I forgot to state that I'm using the ESC governor. Does this matter? Which one is better to use? Still haven't flown her yet. I was busy fix'n car's........Hi Rod, are you using the BeastX governor or the ESC governor? Just wondering..
Excellent!!!Well, it's a whole other subject but if you ask, most pros tell you the FBL controller governors are faster and more acuate. But the BeastX gov is a bit of a pain to set up. IMO the ESC governor, especially HW and Kontronik for us sport fliers is more than adequate. Since you've unlocked the pro version, maybe down the road you could play with it but for now, get her in the air..... Cheers!
Hell with that...take a video, LOL.to watch for Bigfoot
What pitch are you running on your blades?Hey guys, if I wanted to soften or increase the pitch aggression, which is the best approach with the Beast Plus??
I think it's the Beast that now controls this and not the transmitter because the TX is set to Swash Normal, right?
I'm running 12 degrees........ Which I know is aggressive and so how is the pitch changed with the Beast? With my Align 450 Pro, I set the pitch in the Swashplate setting in the radio. You can also set the Aileron and elevator pitch there too. Hey you know the expo /DR? It works all the same right. Set with the TX, right? Thanks again guys! What pitch are you running on your blades?
Yes, yes, it did.So, let's go back to the initial setup. At step L "I think", is where you set the collective pitch range. All done in the micobeast. Your transmitter should be 100-100. You don't adjust anything in the transmitter. You can change the pitch curve in the transmitter only after the setup is complete. So, to answer your question, I normally set my min/max pitch to 12-/12+ while setting up the beastX. Then after your setup is complete and after the heli fly's you can tweak the pitch curve in the TX. But for me linier pitch curve works. Ali/Eli degrees is all set in the beastX during setup. Just about all controllers work this way. Now as far as the DR/Expo, I think we talked about this. In the presets in the parameter menu when you pick Normal, Sport and so on, you are in essence presetting an expo. You cannot adjust any dual rate or expo in the transmitter unless you set the control style in the parameter menu to "transmitter". But if it seems a bit touchy, put it down to "normal" With that setting there is about 50% expo which is quite a bit and might be enough. But you can always add whatever you like as long as the control style is set on transmitter. Hope this helps, Cheers
I wish the manual had a better explanation about what the parameter settings mean, know what I mean, Randy does, don't yah Randy,
So true. It's like me telling my wife or via-versa, "You hear me, but you don't listen""I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you"
I was joking and tried adding a emote from my computer since I wanted a certain one and not one from the forum... but it didn't take it. So I guess that's aSo true. It's like me telling my wife or via-versa, "You hear me, but you don't listen"
