Well, I put the first 4 holes in my walls of the new house this morning. Woke up, sucked down some coffee then started moving a few things into the house. First was my chairs for my table. Didn't realize how heavy they were. Second was the hangars. HOLY CRAP, we have a LOT of hangars. Didn't have enough room in my closet for them all so had to hang my clothes rod above where the washer and dryer will go. Once that was hung, I was able to hang the rest of them up.

Yesterday, the wife put all of the dry goods in the house as well as our end tables and a few other things. Once we get some electricity and some heat, we will start moving the rest of the stuff in there. It can't happen soon enough.

Hopefully your purchase goes smoother than mine has gone.

Update: I did get a call from my electric company and the guy is going to be out there tomorrow to survey the land to see where to place the electrical line. When he will actually lay it, is anyones guess...

Jalapeno Pecan Brittle and Hot Red Pepper Peanut Brittle. I hate peanut brittle, but these two, I REALLY like! Who'd a thunk it...

My boss at work asked me if I like "spicy". I told her yes and she pulled this stuff out. I told her, just to try and keep from trying it (didn't sound good at all lol) that I hated peanut brittle. Somehow she talked me into it. Could have something to do with that gun on her hip lmao. And now, I can't stop eating it.

Only 2 hours to go then it's beer and pizza, strawberries and watermelon and no work until January 6.
What an awesome boss I have, oh wait, it's me. :)
I am SO looking forward to some time off.
When you own a small business (me and one worker) you have to pay your staff to take time off but getting a decent amount of time off yourself is almost impossible.

I'd like to wish everyone here, and everywhere else, a safe and happy festive season.
Be good, be careful, be safe and still be here next year.

Okay, so a second is the exact same no matter when it occurs. Why in the HELL do these seconds seem like minutes?... Longest. Week. EVER!!!

There are leap seconds that are occasionally injected into the clock system to keep things here on Earth synced up with the solar system. And, of course, a second is only a second when you aren't in relative motion to an observer (or the clock you are observing). To say nothing of the effects of gravity differences on our relative experience of the passage of time.

So, no, a second isn't a second all the time. Your clock must be in a singularity. I'd fish it out of there before it's too late. :)

Actually a second is a second. "leap seconds" are not used all the time. According to wiki, and I knew this but couldn't remember the number or the atom used, a second is: the duration of 9,192,631,770 periods of the radiation corresponding to the transition between the two hyperfine levels of the ground state of the caesium 133 atom. So yes, a second is just a second. But they are long as FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 lmao
