Glad to see you made it. Up before the sun and home after the sun is down. My job right now sucks, but it's money.

Managed almost 5 hours of sim time today. At the beginning I was working on backward flight. My turns to the left are looking better (sticks away from each other) and my right turns (sticks together) are looking like a disaster. Thgen I moved on to about 30 minutes of autos on the X7 and those are starting to come together. At first I was coming in to hot and now I have slowed my forward speed a little bit and took some negative pitch away and now I am starting to feel it.

Got back on the X3 and did some quick edits on it to make it feel a little more like what I am used to. Went back to backwards flying and things to the left are getting a little more closer and the right is starting to shape up. Finally I switched field to the soccer stadium so I can work on control in a smaller area. I decided to work on some forward flight stuff. just big ovals rounded corner boxs both to the right and to the left. I discovered that my left turns look a heck of a lot better than my right turns so I went and worked on those the most. I want to have my basic flight stuff locked in at slow speeds before next weekend. I think I want to attempt to fly complete ovals and circuits at slow speed. Now I need to figure out how to adjust the head speed in the model on rf7. I want to get it to 2700 since that will be my mid range once I am done with setup. I think right now I have 2500 2700 and 2900 for my real X3 so thats what I want to shoot for in the sim. The first flight videos of my X3 were around 2500 at the head.

Things are a bit quiet here too, it's nearly 9:30am and all today's work is near completed.
It is calm as heck out there, gusts of 3 to 5kmh, sun is shining, I think I will be heading home for some FPV by 10:30.
One of the few small bonuses of owning your own business. I get to leave someone else in charge and just go. :)

Came so close to picking up a 150 DFC today while I was in the model shop, but hell it's a fair chunk of wedge for a diddy little bird,

I know my 130x owes me more than I would like to think about, but I love the way that is now,

But back to the 150 DFC, I just managed to walk away, just not 100% sure at the moment,

The last 15 years sitting in a truck or behind a desk to standing up for an entire shift. Yup, pretty sure I will not live to see 2015

I do have to apologize to everyone, I no longer have the time to get on here much anymore. But I still try to get on when I can. Thanks to everyone that has taken up the slack! It's greatly appreciated.

That's why we come on here Tony, it's our pleasure, I personally have had lots of good advice off lots of good people, and I have found that helping others like I have been helped gives its own reward,

I have helped quite a few people in the club I go to and that would not have been on the cards if it was not from all the good info I have picked up on here.

It's what keeps us coming back man!

You gotta do whacha gotta do man! You and your team has created the best RC forum on the web for beginners up to skilled pilots who are looking for honest help and advice IMO. The team here has caught the vision and I'm sure will keep it going.

You da man, Tony!

You're welcome!

I can only speak for myself but IMO all of us will pick up the slack. As I look back through older posts I see where many of the guys offering help and guidance where the ones looking for help and guidance a short time ago. That says something about this site and the members. I can only hope that, although still a newb, that one day I will be one of the skilled members offering advice to a new member. If it wasn't for RCH, I can say with confidence that my build would not have been as fun as it has been as well as educational thanks to you and your team. It's been a blast and now I want to build another!!!! Heck, I'm still asking questions and receiving answers and the build is done waiting for its maiden! You say this to new members all the time but it is 100% true......other forums do not offer subjective, honest, helpful advice and welcome newb's to the hobby. I could go on and on but enough with the mushy stuff! The reason I joined this forum over all of the others are the people!!! RCH is a family!!!
