You're welcome!

I can only speak for myself but IMO all of us will pick up the slack. As I look back through older posts I see where many of the guys offering help and guidance where the ones looking for help and guidance a short time ago. That says something about this site and the members. I can only hope that, although still a newb, that one day I will be one of the skilled members offering advice to a new member. If it wasn't for RCH, I can say with confidence that my build would not have been as fun as it has been as well as educational thanks to you and your team. It's been a blast and now I want to build another!!!! Heck, I'm still asking questions and receiving answers and the build is done waiting for its maiden! You say this to new members all the time but it is 100% true......other forums do not offer subjective, honest, helpful advice and welcome newb's to the hobby. I could go on and on but enough with the mushy stuff! The reason I joined this forum over all of the others are the people!!! RCH is a family!!!

Here's to RCH :beerchug:

I couldn't agree more!

Going on day 3 without a cigarette. Last night, we removed all of the ashtrays out of the house. Will be removing it from my car as well. Thanks to this little candy apple red ecig that I purchased. Never thought this would work, but it's working...

That's great, Tony…….but then you'll have to quit the ecig, huh!

Keep it up bro! That's something I need to do as well.

That is the great thing. I'm not getting any tar, carcinigans and so on out of the ecig. And, I can keep lowering the nicotine levels in this. I started out at 36mg, moved down to 24mg and I'm now using 18mg and doing just fine. When I run out of this liquid, I will be moving down to 14mg. I can go all the way to 0mg where I'm just getting the flavor and no nicotine. I think at that point, I can just set it down unless I just want to taste it again. My flavor of choice is Cinnamon Red Hot.

That's pretty cool. I didn't know you could lower the nicotine level in those things. You can use them indoors as well, at least that is what I have seen. I see lots of people using them but haven't made the plunge myself…..I need to quit too!

Just waiting for the idiot politicians to ban these e-cigs, or tax them into oblivion.

Good on you Tony. Keep it up.

I've been on e-cigs for about 12 months. Its the best thing I ever did apart from rc heli's. Its saved me a.small fortune.

Keep an eye on your tank tony the cinnamon red hot tends to crack the poly-carbonate tanks over time.

Had a delivery of two new batteries for my protos today looking forward to getting out with them. I've got a.week off work next week so I hope the good weather holds up.

Good luck with the quitting Tony.
I can't speak from experience as I have never smoked but I know many people that have quit and they all say the same thing.
It was rough but well worth it.
Not only for the health benefits for you and your family but also the extra money it frees up.
I know people here in New Zealand that spend over $150 a week between a couple.
That's around $7500 a year on this terrible habit.
What could you fly with that. :)

Governments the world over get a large part of their tax income from alcohol, tobacco and oil companies.
What will they do if everyone gives up smoking and/or if a real alternative to fossil fuels is found.
Will they, as has been suggested, find a way to tax these E-cigs. I hope not.
That's why people that seem to be getting there with viable, cheap alternative energy systems seem to just "go away".
Hopefully with the proliferation of information on the internet things will be harder to just bury.

Just logged in to check-up on the forum and post some pictures  . I started a thread for y'all who want to see the edge 540 I was talking about in my introduction thread. Me and my dad built the edge 540 together. I also posted pictures of my truck, which was once again posted about in my introduction thread.

Yup, that is one of the best things about these things. I still have my first one which is at 36mg that I hit when I need a real fix, but I find I'm having to hit that one far less now. What is this, day 4... Yup, feeling pretty good about this one.

Second that

Then do it. I have less than $50 invested in mine. Another $35 for the wife I think.

Yeah, that is one reason I'm doing it now. Not waiting for these things to become as expensive as cigarettes. Right now, I'm hitting about a full tank a day on mine. I averaged it out, and that is about $17 every two weeks. I was doing $17 in about 3 days with cigarettes.

Yup, it will crack plastic. That is why I purchased a glass tank for mine. I'm still having an issue with it wicking through the atomizer though. Not sure there is much I can do on that one. I just clean mine out a couple times a day so it doesn't feel like I'm hitting a bong lol. And when that stuff hits your tongue, holy crap it burns lmao.

Rock on tony, but where am I gonna get my second hand fix?

Um, bring a pack with you, light up in the garage and enjoy the smoke with it sitting there lmao. Oh yeah, they are all FSC's now... You will have to keep lighting it lmao.

Good luck with the quitting Tony.

It is rough, but not as rough as I thought it would be. This is actually going pretty easy from the way I thought it would be.
